IT Advisor, FSO - Technology Solution Deliver (InsurTech- MicroServices) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (Job Number - 1473474), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Iselin, NJ.Work directly with clients to transform their business problems into technology solutions. Support our clients' efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the remediation and mitigation of process risk. Assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, vendor selection and technology implementation plans that support our clients. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field and 4 years of work experience in defining business and technical requirements.Must have 4 years of development/architecture experience.Must have 3 years of experience with one or a combination of the following: Java8 or higher/Spring Boot.Must have 4 years of combined experience in Microservices architecture in cloud native environments.Must have 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing REST-based API, TDD, and Spring Contract.Must have 4 years of experience working with Maven and related open source technologies to build microservices and related components.Must have 4 years of experience with JWT (JSON Web Tokens).Must have 4 years of experience with Spring Integration with message queues including any combination of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and/or IBM MQ.Must have 4 years of experience in Spring Batch.Must have 4 years of experience NoSQL database (MongoDB and API).Must have 3 years hands-on experience with containerized platforms including Docker, Kubernetes or similar, in cloud environments.Must have 4 years of experience logging and exceptions handling using technologies, including ELK, Grafana, or Splunk.Must have 4 years of experience using a mocking framework.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
