Job Overview

  • Be responsible for developing the strategic business and sales plan to monetize Qualcomm’s comprehensive portfolio within the Microsoft account team.

  • Evangelize Qualcomm’s solutions and go-to-market to across Surface, Windows, Xbox and other Microsoft’s groups

  • Identify and leverage strategic business opportunities for Qualcomm in these areas

  • Manage and lead go-to-market programs and activities across these areas

  • Identify new business / marketing opportunities and expanding upon current ones to increase revenues by evangelizing use cases for PC, Data Center and AI/ML

Your charter will also include:

  • Identifying and working closely with top BG’s and their teams to establish Qualcomm as a sustained leader in the market

  • Comprehensive understanding of Qualcomm’s portfolio and technology and drive long-term strategic alignment with customer

  • Executing and growing existing and new profit generating business opportunities

  • Working closely with internal executives, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to facilitate and gain support for short-term execution and long-term GTM plans based on achievement of business and financial goals and milestones

  • Managing the customer sell-in and sell-thru business cycle from cradle to grave;

  • Production and EOL management

  • Maintaining sales pipeline, provide monthly forecasts and support internal operational / financial planning processes, as well as, GTM planning.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for developing the strategic business and sales plan to monetize Qualcomm’s comprehensive portfolio across Microsoft.

  • Evangelize Qualcomm’s solutions to this customer through viable business strategies and commercialization plans

  • Identify and leverage strategic business opportunities for Qualcomm in this account

  • Manage and lead non-traditional strategic business opportunities to enhance revenues

  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding upon current ones to increase revenues for North America based strategic accounts by evangelizing use cases for low power computing and AI/ML

  • Plan, own and execute the GTM plans for Surface, at both the HQ and Regions, and ensure successful sell-in and sell-out.

Your charter will also include:

  • Identifying and working closely with Surface and Microsoft more generally to build plans, governance models and processes to establish performance

  • Comprehensive understanding of Surface’s portfolio and technology and drive long-term strategic alignment with Qualcomm

  • Program manage and ensure alignment with Surface and the broader Windows GTM plans and strategies

  • Working closely with internal executives, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to facilitate and gain support for short-term and long-term plans based on achievement of business goals and milestones

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development and / or strategic sales of technology products specifically to large scale companies operating in the areas of PC, Cloud, E-commerce, Search, Gaming, Enterprise Software, Social networking, Media Streaming etc.

  • Experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals

  • Experience in developing GTM strategies and plans, and running a program office to ensure high quality execution across Qualcomm and Microsoft teams

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Direct experience working with Microsoft’s Surface PC teams considered very beneficial

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering and at least 15 years in the compute/PC or other high-tech product companies

  • Experience in business development and / or strategic sales of technology products specifically to Microsoft:

  • Technical expertise in one or more areas of the following areas Datacenter, Wireless Infrastructure, Networking, Compute (Laptops, Tablets, Phones) and Gaming

  • Strategic Key Account Management Expertise, ability to build and nurture working level and executive level customer relationships & influence

  • Business and financial expertise to build long term business cases with clear ROI

  • Self-starter, must be resourceful and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Leadership: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, initiative oriented, recognized as a successful role-model who has demonstrated abilities to lead by influence

  • Collaboration and Influencing: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to influence and work closely with a variety of constituencies, both internal and external, intra and inter BU, customers, partners, as well as the ability to develop and nurture strong organizational relationships based on mutual trust.

  • He/she will be a clear, open, and effective communicator across all levels of the organization with the ability to effectively interface with the most senior levels of management internally and externally, as well as influence and educate key internal leaders on trends

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Education Requirements Required:

  • Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or bachelor’s in business or management with real-world experience working for technology companies.

  • Preferred: Master's, Business Administration and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Pay range:

$224,000.00 - $336,000.00
