Within CO+I, the Global Supply Chain teamis responsible fora supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets. We are looking to filla criticalrole ofConstruction Contracts Manageron our Supply ChainGavle, Sweden.

As aConstruction Contracts Manager,you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of contracts related to site operations and construction projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, legal experts, and external stakeholders to manage contractual agreements, mitigate risks, and drive complianceat the job site. Your attention to detail, negotiation skills, and ability to navigate complex contractual landscapes will be essential for this role.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • orMaster’sDegree in Engineering,Construction Management,or related field

xperience inProject Management,Supply Chain, and/or Operations

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Requirements

  • Hyperscale data centeror large buildingconstruction experience in an owner or general contractor
  • developingnegotiating contract terms and conditions specifically for contracts related to services, construction, engineering,materialsand equipmentinstallation.
  • Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terms and conditions
  • Broad understanding of the construction industry and contract language associated engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • in contract management software and tools.

Communicates delay to Procurement stakeholders, and independently proposes and executes contingency measures.

Procurement and Contracts

  • Project Procurement:
  • sourcing activities for General Contractors, Architect Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Cost Management, ProjectManagement,and other various professional services.
  • Execute sourcing plans to ensure delivery of approved contract strategies and projectobjectives, on time and within budget.
  • Develop suitable negotiation strategies for the scope.
  • Contribute to supplier evaluation and prepare contract award proposals.
  • Writing of project contracts on Microsoft contract templates.
  • Contract Review and Compliance:
  • nderstanding of thecontract terms and conditions andensurecompliance from relevant parties.
  • Executes procurement contracting strategies for data center construction projects and/orpurchasingopportunities toachieveoptimalcost and continuity of supply and services.
  • Execute project closeoutrequirements.
  • Change Order Management:
  • inChange Order negotiations withinput from keystakeholders.
  • partnerscross-functionally to resolve/escalate accordingly.
  • Attend change management meetings and report on open change orders as applicable.
  • ssistas the commercial Subject Matter Expert andadviseappropriate justificationfor all change orders.
  • OFCI Management & Quality Assurance:
  • facilitateequipment once delivered to site, including inspections andappropriate signoffs.
  • Address quality-related issues as they arise and reportasappropriate.
  • Cx(Commissioning).EnsureGCschedulesare coordinated with Vendor Laborconstraints.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Assumes all post-award contractadministrationresponsibilities with GC, OFCI vendors, AE,Cx, etc.
  • Own commercial decision makingon all post-award activitiesthrough collaborating andinfluencingprojectstakeholders.
  • isk Management:
  • potentialchallengesrelated to the project/contract and develop strategies to mitigatethe risk andmaintaincompliance.
  • Documentation Management and Reporting:
  • Contribute toregularstatus reportsonissues,risksand mitigationsforleadership.
  • Prepare contractual noticesasappropriate usinglanguage fromterms &conditions.
  • Payment Processing:
  • Address and resolve any payment disputessubmittedbysuppliers.
  • facilitateand engage asneededin negotiations with contractors and other parties to resolve disputes with regular updates to the client team.
  • Subcontractor Procurement:
  • the GC’s open-book procurement of trade subcontractors in two-stage contract price models.
  • toreviewandthe GC’s subcontractor procurement deliverablesandfinal recommendation of subcontractor award for each trade package.

  • Drives commercial compliance and problem resolution withGeneral Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers.
  • Actively partners with suppliers toidentifyand drive continuous improvement and risk management opportunities by evaluating procedural, operational, and/or environmental factors, analyzing root causes of issues, sharing insights with key stakeholders, and influencing the adoption of needed improvements.
