Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Global Business Services (GBS) aims to provide globally unified services based on standardized and automated solutions across different functions and markets. This will enable us to drive operational efficiency, quality services, improved agility and better decision-making whilst reducing complexity and workload.

  • Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the adidas Global Business Services Center according to the requirements of the company Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility.
  • We are looking to fill this role with a candidate that can be a direct support to Operations team and coordination with team leads easing the implementation and reinforcement of policies and processes. The position requires high knowledge in Procurement policies, processes, and systems, proactivity in identifying and acting in improvement points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end supplier life cycle including onboarding, verification, and termination process of the supplier.
  • Build and develop strong relationship with suppliers for effective collaboration.
  • Proficient in clear and verbal communication with suppliers and also professional email correspondence to Stakeholders.
  • Experience in dealing with Helpdesk & Supplier Queries.
  • Responsible to ensure up-to-date process GBS.NTP (Non-Trade Procurement) documentation.
  • Align with NTP Category Managers on category specific policy and documentation updates.
  • Strong knowledge in SAP - vendor master data.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track supplier metrics and make ideal decisions.
  • Maintain Primary Data suppliers and employees.
  • Provide onboarding support and training to new joiners.
  • Support Business and team on Process and technical related questions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Procurement and/or Operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capability to independently interact with different stakeholders.
  • Action oriented and solution minded team player with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines.
  • Experience with SAP (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Vendor Master Data Governance (MDG) is an advantage
  • Experience in handling vendor master data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is an advantage.
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed individual

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement.
  • 5+ years business experience, preferably in Procurement area.
  • Procurement or Finance experience is a plus.
