The key responsibilities
Product vision and strategy: defining a clear and compelling product vision, direction and purpose, as well as a plan outlining how the product will achieve its goals
Market research and analysis: analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Define the ideal customer personas and segments for the product
Roadmap planning: create product roadmap including feature releases and milestones, features prioritization and enhancements
Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with engineers, marketers, designers, architects, and other stakeholders to bring the product to life, bridging communication gaps via ensuring that everyone involved has a shared understanding
Product backlog development: define detailed requirements in the form of epics, features and user stories to guide the development team. Continuously refine the product backlog based on user feedback and changing market conditions.
Product development: participate in all agile ceremonies, provide necessary product concept, and approve development work done
Product launch and marketing: develop strategies for launching the product to the market, working with the marketing team to create messaging, positioning and promotional material
Performance analysis: define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the product’s performance in the market. Collect and analyse user feedback to identify areas for improvement
