- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Build a vision: define a product vision for the team and identify near and long-term initiatives to build your product roadmap.
- Align teams: work closely with cross-functional teams across Uber Verticals, Eng, Data Science, and Operations to align business and product strategy.
- Execute: translate user needs and insights into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes.
- Iterate: distill insights from various data sources such as performance dashboards, experimentation results, and user research. Then apply the findings back into the product development process.
- - - - Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager.
- Experience working with design on complex UI/UX challenges.
- Experience building consumer products. This is a user-focused role, so experience delivering highly successful and creative mobile user-facing products is a must.
- Experience using data to drive strategic decisions. This is a complex problem space, requiring experience with experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Deep understanding of marketplace mechanics.
- Experience building global products.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
