Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifying and documenting business capabilities, processes, and functions.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture that aligns Qualcomm's supply chain and finance goals with technological capabilities.
Design and implement innovative business processes, systems, and application strategies that drive operational excellence and financial performance in the semiconductor industry.
Create and manage architectural roadmaps guiding the evolution of Qualcomm's supply chain and finance landscape, including the enterprise application portfolio.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate requirements into actionable architectural solutions, and ensure alignment with overall strategic direction.
Lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise application architecture strategies, focusing on enhancing supply chain processes and financial reporting.
Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies and solutions (including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) that enhance Qualcomm's agility, efficiency, and financial control in the semiconductor market.
Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and their potential impact on Qualcomm's supply chain and finance architecture, particularly in the context of semiconductor industry trends.
Ensure architectural integrity and alignment across business processes, data, applications, and technology infrastructure in the supply chain and finance domains.
Define, implement, and enforce architecture standards, policies, and governance processes to maintain security, quality, and compliance across all supply chain and finance functions and applications.
Conduct regular architecture assessments, monitor operational and financial performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement and optimization.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and financial reporting accuracy.
Advocate for and implement best practices in application development, deployment, and lifecycle management, including CI/CD, containerization, and microservices architectures within supply chain and finance systems.
Mentor and guide other architects, developers, and technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning in architectural practices related to supply chain and finance.
Provide strategic support to various departments, ensuring their alignment with the overall supply chain and finance architecture.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong background in both supply chain and finance architecture, including leading enterprise-level application projects.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the semiconductor industry and its unique supply chain and financial challenges.
Enterprise Architecture: Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) and their practical application. Strong understanding of BIZBOK concepts.
Business Process Modeling: Expertise in business process modeling, enterprise business architecture, and associated tools (e.g., BPMN, ArchiMate), particularly for supply chain and finance processes.
Application Development: Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance enterprise application architectures for supply chain and finance systems.
Cloud Computing: Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in architecting cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions for supply chain and finance applications.
Data Architecture: Solid understanding of data architecture principles, including data mesh and data strategy concepts, with a focus on supply chain and financial data management.
Modern Development Practices: Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures in the context of supply chain and finance systems.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in supply chain and finance transformations.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex supply chain and finance needs into actionable architectural solutions.
Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence senior-level decision-making in supply chain and finance contexts.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and change management skills to drive the adoption of new supply chain and finance processes and systems.
Supply Chain Expertise: Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions for complex supply chain processes, particularly within the semiconductor industry or similarly complex manufacturing sectors.
Financial Systems: Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platforms, and revenue recognition systems, with experience in designing and implementing these solutions for enterprise-scale organizations.
Order to Cash: Proven experience in architecting end-to-end order to cash systems, particularly those tailored to the complexities of semiconductor manufacturing and distribution.
Supply Chain Analytics: Strong background in supply chain analytics and financial forecasting, including experience with designing data architectures that support predictive analytics for complex manufacturing and distribution cycles.
Digital Transformation: Track record of leading digital transformation initiatives in supply chain and finance functions, particularly in transitioning traditional processes to digital platforms.
Industry-Specific Knowledge: In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, global logistics, and financial reporting requirements specific to the semiconductor industry.
Compliance and Risk Management: Familiarity with compliance requirements and risk management strategies specific to the semiconductor industry's supply chain and finance operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Industry Expertise: Deep semiconductor industry experience, particularly in supply chain management and financial operations.

TOGAF Certification
ArchiMate 3 Practitioner Certification
APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution)

Proficiency in advanced data analytics and statistics for supply chain and finance
Experience with big data architectures and analytics platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in supply chain and financial forecasting
Enterprise Integration: Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API management, and service-oriented architecture (SOA), particularly in connecting supply chain systems with ERP and financial platforms.
Transformation Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation projects, particularly in digitalizing supply chain and finance processes.
Financial Acumen: Advanced understanding of financial modeling and budgeting in relation to IT investments and ROI, specific to supply chain and finance technology initiatives.
Global Experience: Experience working in or with international teams, understanding global business practices and challenges in semiconductor manufacturing, distribution, and financial reporting.
Executive Communication: Track record of successful stakeholder management at the executive level, including board-level presentations on supply chain and finance architectural strategies.
Innovation: A track record of innovation, with patents or published work in the field of supply chain management, financial systems, or related technologies.
Agile and Lean: Advanced certifications or proven experience in scaling Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant) and applying Lean principles to supply chain and finance processes.
Security and Compliance: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, IFRS) as they relate to supply chain and financial data in the semiconductor industry.
Emerging Technologies: Demonstrated experience architecting solutions leveraging emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, or edge computing for innovative supply chain and finance applications.
Risk Management: Experience in designing architectures that support robust risk management and business continuity planning for global supply chains.
Sustainability: Expertise in architecting solutions that enhance sustainability throughout the supply chain, including carbon footprint tracking and reporting systems.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is required.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field is strongly preferred.

$168,400.00 - $252,600.00
