As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable software solutions for in-house EDA flows

• Lead the development of internal software tools and automation efforts, participate in design reviews.

• Present and explain novel methods to users.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Implement and support VLSI frontend Design/Verification steps and high-level design flows

• Manage the full software development life cycle.

• Skills :

• Experience in planning and deploying new tools and flows to users.

• Strong experience in scripting languages like Perl, Python and Linux platform with good logical ability.

• Proficiency in VLSI frontend Design/Verification steps, high-level design flows, shell scripting, and Makefile.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to learn quickly, take on new challenges, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of chip design processes such as verification, design, and implementation.

• Work with various version control systems/database designs such as GIT, Clearcase etc.
