Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Increase penetration of BNPL upstream presentment in SMB merchants (front & backbook). Creatively solve for front book solutions to ensure merchants are equipped with PayPal BNPL from day 0
  • Ensure wide distribution of our BNPL upstream messaging by partnering with sales enablement. Ensure training materials, data points, marketing campaigns, and sales pitches are up to date and polished.
  • Increase SMB engagement through and end to end lifecycle communication & marketing strategy
  • Create & manage scorecards & targets. Track and read out the financial impact of wins. Develop business cases in order to prioritize initiatives.
  • Review and identify ways to improve PayPal’s BNPL position relative to competitors using our best-in-class technology & value props
  • Manage relationships with Internal Stakeholders

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in SMB Sales or Partner Management, Credit Portfolio Management, Financial Services, Corporate Strategy or related functional experience
  • Strategic agility and Strong Communication. Adept at articulating credible vision of possibilities and getting buy-in from leadership & peers
  • Experience leading others indirectly (leadership without authority), cross-functional collaboration skills required
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders across multi-disciplinary businesses and functions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to changing business objectives and constraints
  • Proven track record of collaboration and influence in a matrixed environment. Strong sense of urgency with the ability to “get things done” across matrixed organization
  • Deep understanding of PayPal Products and PayPal Buy Now Pay Later
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with MBA degree preferred

The US national annual pay range for this role is $98,000 to $140,250
