What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities
Implement and support the data operating framework encompassing data governance, data management, data quality, and data analytics.
Support development of strategic roadmap for data initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and priorities. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
Responsible for oversight and execution of data programs as program manager, with required SME input.
Lead cross-functional project teams to execute data-related projects from initiation to closure. Define project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and risks. Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts to ensure alignment and support for data initiatives.
Identify potential risks and issues related to data projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. Proactively monitor and address project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Support cross-functional teams on data-related capabilities. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and requirements. Build relationships and partnerships to drive collaboration and alignment on data initiatives.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
5+ years of experience in leadership roles focused on data strategy, data management preferably in a large enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data architecture, and data quality principles and practices.
Experience supporting data initiatives and driving business value through data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and driving cultural change towards data-driven decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) related to data management and privacy.
