What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of the enterprise data strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for leveraging data as a strategic asset to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Establish a comprehensive data operating framework encompassing data governance, data management, data quality, and data analytics. Establish metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on data-related projects, initiatives, and capabilities. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and requirements. Build relationships and partnerships to drive collaboration and alignment on data initiatives.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization.
Lead change management efforts to support the adoption of new data tools, technologies, and processes.
Leverage training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to users to promote data literacy and adoption.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree and 6 years' experience in program management, operations, or related field OR 8 years' experience in program management, operations, or related field
MBA and | or MS preferred
5 years' experience leading cross-functional project teams.
8+ years of experience in leadership roles focused on data strategy, data management preferably in a large enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data architecture, and data quality principles and practices.
Proven track record of leading strategic data initiatives and driving business value through data-driven decision-making.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and driving cultural change towards data-driven decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) related to data management and privacy.
