Required Qualifications:

• Very Strong technicalengineering experience
1. OR Bachelor's degree inElectricalEngineering,
2. OR related field AND Good technicalengineering experience

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience with the operation and maintenance of buildingelectricalsystems. (Power distribution (MV/HV/LV), lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, life safety, and controls systems)
• Established understanding ofelectricaltheory and practical application via your maintenance & operation of criticalelectricalequipment. (Paralleling switchgear, redundant UPS systems, DC battery strings, multi-sourceelectricalutility switchgear, standby diesel generators, etc.)
• Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation (Your ability to interpret blueprints,electricalone-lines, construction drawings etc.)
• Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls & frameworks

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

2. Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities
3. Overall responsibility for the safe operation of our facilities including Microsoft staff safety and partner teams.
4. Understand the design and functionality of your datacenter.
5. Management of the ongoing CE maintenance support for all service lines to pre-defined SLAs. This is to ensure service uptime is maintained to the highest standards and that faults are dealt with in timely manner.
6. Management of incidents that impact Microsoft cloud services and the proactive and timely resolution of such incidents.
7. Work with Construction and Commissioning team to properly integrate the newElectricalsystems to existing data center .
8. Support and validate on-site datacenters operations in relation to theelectricalinfrastructure.
9. Be anElectricalSME for on-site operations related to mission criticalelectricalsystem, operations and functionality.
10. Act as the technical authority for on-site operations related to a large-scale mission criticalelectricalsystem, design, and functionality.
11. Establish and coordinate maintenance and safety operating procedures, required to maintain highly redundantelectricaldesigns within the data center.
12. Empower Operational Optimization and Efficiency improvement initiatives.
