The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts with key strategic accounts, leveraging their deep understanding of the storage and data management market to establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives. This role requires a proven track record in exceeding sales targets, strong negotiation skills, and an ability to articulate the value of our innovative technology solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within assigned accounts.
Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities for VAST Data's products and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management regarding account status and sales pipeline.
Attend industry events and conferences to promote VAST Data and generate leads.
