Role Responsibilities:

The main tasks include:

  • Responsible for weekly reporting for GPB business which include key business metrics. This includes revenues, flows, balances, headcount & expense, or profitability, where you will be expected to deliver value-added financial reporting and analysis and assist with strategic decision making.
  • Work with various Essbase and database interfaces to manage reporting changes.
  • Participate in annual planning / forecasting process for revenues, flows and balances which involves financial modeling, coordinating, and consolidating submissions from CFO teams as well as preparing management presentations.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for management meetings and strategic reviews using Tableau as the primary tool (e.g., Operating Committee Review, Regional Business and Finance Townhall, Investor Day, etc.)
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
  • Calculation and consolidation of the month-end results and the forecast for the remainder of the year
  • Developing metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
  • Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management.
  • Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification: CA or an MBA in Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background. Private banking product and business understanding /experience would be preferred.
  • Advanced Tableau dash boarding, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and MS Access.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal & written) with ability to articulate complex issues clearly to internal clients and senior management.
  • Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity towards handling highly sensitive and confidential information, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented individual with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinking, positive attitude, and solutions-oriented mindset with intellectual curiosity to be able to think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Detail oriented individual with the ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
