About the role:

This role requires a high degree of collaboration, strategic thinking, attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to work under pressure. This person will have high visibility within the organization and with customers, and must be able to communicate professionally and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the current EP RF ablation, diagnostics and EP mapping disposables product portfolio and partner with distribution channels to ensure sales targets are met/exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Independently develop, key business planning activities and ensure accuracy and conformity in forecasting and supply chain, operations and budget management.
  • Identify and plan to exploit new market opportunities.
  • Represent franchise projects and interests at leadership briefings, and assist in preparing and presenting at business planning team meetings.
  • Partner with franchise management to execute market pricing programs, to formulate franchise market segmentation, product positioning and messaging.
  • Contribute to franchise global downstream marketing and sales, and suggest means to improve strategy and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to understanding key industry dynamics and trends and in formulating strategy and concept messaging techniques.
  • Network with colleagues in other franchises and cross-functional departments to enhance own franchise systems and processes to accomplish “best in class” business objectives.
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understand and comply with all regulations governing the quality systems.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of professional experience in the medical device industry
  • Minimum of 3 years working in the product management/development field.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% in support of tradeshows, special events and internal meetings, as well as ability to be on-site at customer programs at various locations domestically when necessary.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree, such as MBA
  • Single use device product launch and life-cycle management experience
  • Experience with market modeling and pricing modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and manage all aspects of product launches with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success supporting managing multiple complex projects
  • Experience in Electrophysiology medical devices
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders without direct authority
