What you'll do...

Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).

Coordinate and support security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.

Maintain operation of system hardware through monitoring functionality, preventative maintenance, identifying and reporting or resolving performance issues.

Install, monitor, maintain and repair system hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

Perform daily administrative tasks including pass down reports, billing, user access coding, filing, etc.

Judgment: Make Effective Choices: Uses policies, procedures, and/or guides to make good choices. Uses data and facts in order to make day-to-day decisions and involves others as needed. Recognizes what might be a problem and informs those who can correct it.

Systems Operations/Data Processing: Maintains operation of system hardware and software through monitoring functionality, preventative maintenance, identifying and reporting or resolving performance issues by following appropriate guidelines and procedures. Responds to critical systems issues and urgent customer requests in a timely manner. Tells management about security risks and system damage, modification, or disclosure. Tells management when tools and supplies required for systems operation/data processing are unavailable or broken.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.85-$27.35* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Associate's Degree in an information systems related field (e.g., computer science, management information systems) OR 6 months experience as a Walmart Logistics associate and 6 months experience using and maintaining computer applications (e.g., networking, troubleshooting, email, spreadsheets, word processing) OR 1 year experience in an information systems related field (e.g., computer science, management information systems)
