As the Head of Consumer Marketing within Chase Auto, you will lead a dynamic team of digital marketing innovators and retail network strategists. You will develop innovative go-to-market strategies to enhance our car shopping and financing platform. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in creating a seamless car buying and financing experience for consumers.
Job responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive consumer marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances brand visibility and reputation.
- Brand Management : Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints, driving unaided brand awareness, consideration, and purchase intent.
- Consumer Insights : Conduct consumer research and analyze the voice of the customer to derive insights, maintain needs-based customer segmentation, and identify solutions and gaps for new product enhancements.
- Partnerships and Collaborations : Partnering with business leadership and understanding context and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to business leadership, product, consumer bank, and customer experience, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts, enhance the customer journey, and drive differentiated experiences and business outcomes.
- Market Awareness : Maintain a pulse on market trends, competitive positioning, and differentiation to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
- Integrated Campaigns : Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that span digital, social, and traditional media channels, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.
- Media Strategy : Oversee integrated owned, earned, and paid media strategies in partnership with brand, media, digital, communications, and other key audience stakeholder leads. Maximize use of Chase-owned channels including digital and branch network.
- Banker Support : Enable and provide tools, resources, and additional support to bankers across a nationwide branch network, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences and Chase Auto referrals.
- Team Leadership : Inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Business Outcomes : Ensure initiatives are focused and drive intended business outcomes. Establish performance metrics including OKR to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide regular reporting to senior management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 10+ years of experience in B2C marketing, with a track record of inspiring teams, fostering high performance, and getting results.
- Expertise in integrated marketing, with the ability to navigate complex environments and provide clarity amidst ambiguity.
- Exceptional skills in developing trust and respect among internal and external partners.
- A creative mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation, including demonstrable knowledge and use of AI.
- Superior written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in senior executive engagement and interactions, effectively articulating ideas, persuading, listening, and demonstrating responsiveness to feedback for continuous excellence.
