Snowflake is looking for a creative, adaptable and proactive Workplace Coordinator. This is a full time onsite position in our Seoul office. Reporting to the Manager, APJ Workplace Operations, you will support the day-to-day workplace operations in Korea as part of our growing APJ Workplace team.
AS A WORKPLACE COORDINATOR AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
- Take genuine care and responsibility for the entire workplace. You are responsible for keeping the entire office maintained and ready for use at all times.
- Ensure an enjoyable, safe, supportive and collaborative place to work and visit for employees, customers, and guests.
- Oversee internal requests for office and building maintenance. Help to ensure all building and maintenance practices, procedures, regulations, etc. are followed.
- Manage local food and beverage programs, which includes coordinating daily lunch, tracking inventory, and budget.
- Keep track of office related expenses and timely vendor payment.
- Maintain relationships with all office-related vendors to ensure they are meeting Snowflake standards. Manage all vendor communication and logistical planning.
- Conduct space and occupancy audits to maintain accurate reporting information of seating charts, employee locations, space designations, and usage of space.
- Be able to work independently and effectively within a team environment, assuming responsibility without direct supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when prioritizing requests and organizing work.
- Assist with internal communication. Develop content and draft Workplace communications for approval. Ensure timely distribution of all communications.
- Assist with planning and executing office-wide events and meetings, in addition to Workplace-sponsored initiatives, such as happy hours, holiday parties, etc.
OUR IDEAL WORKPLACE COORDINATOR WILL HAVE:
- 3+ years of workplace, hospitality or customer service experience in real estate and facility management.
- Both the ability to be self-sufficient and a team player.
- A strong work ethic and enthusiasm in fulfilling deliverables in projects and day-to-day tasks.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with team members at all levels.
- An ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and handle interruptions with an upbeat, professional attitude.
- Creativity and positivity, delighting and surprising the local team, with an eye for detail and strong execution.
- An ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our processes and physical space, and be innovative in their thinking.
- Strong computer skills that they’ll apply to Google Suite, Slack and other software used by our team.
- Fluency in both English and Korean (speaking, reading, and writing).
