The Senior Global Disciplinary Delivery Specialist Lead applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or functions. Requires analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and professional diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within team. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. This role is to assist in providing a broad range of HR services as it relates to disciplinary actions and accountability frameworks within Citi, globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Specialist for assigned region
  • Assesses history to determine if elevated discipline is appropriate
  • Partner with assigned compliance and surveillance groups to provide direct HR support as it relates to employee discipline
  • Ensure compliance standards are applied consistently across global taxonomies and regions.
  • Assist in the triage, assignment, and disciplinary actions aligned to the Accountability Framework.
  • Resolve employee disciplinary matters, liaising with the Human Resources Generalists, Advisors, and business managers
  • Assist with delivering materials and resources to managers regarding policies and corrective actions
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting activities for the larger HRPS organization as it relates to QAQC standards
  • Delivers subject matter expertise
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent team player with proven interpersonal and communication skills with employees at all levels. Proven customer service skills. Sense of ownership and self-starter. Ability to fully utilize technology resources including ServiceNow and Workday, strong experience with data and analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional Human Resources environment
  • Fluency in English/Spanish/Portuguese required


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
