What you`ll do:

The Role:
As Disaster Recovery IT Technology Senior / Expert Consultant

• Responsible for Designing and Implementing Automation Workflows for consistent deployment of Disaster Recovery systems including database and filesystem replication and preparation of network routing.

• Lead and execute first-time builds of Disaster Recovery for new solutions in the ECS portfolio as a combination of hands-on work and coaching of more junior colleagues.

• Participate in the evaluation of new virtualization and platform technologies such as VMware or public IaaS solutions like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure and support troubleshooting of exceptional cases in a 3rd level support role.

• Create knowledge transfer and technical documentation, including technical operational concepts, process flows, and guidelines will also be part of your role.

• Collaborate and align new concepts with international teams from within the organization and outside to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

What you bring:

• Solid hands-on know-how with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA and SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE).

• Previous experience in installing and configuring SAP technology-based systems.
  Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Basic know-how around database and filesystem replication and preparation of network routing.

• Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way.

• Communication with customers on technical and operations topics, ability to handle escalated customer cases.

• Willingness to work on weekends and on on-call shifts as required

• Very good English language skills
