The Manager Profit Protection (Data Analytics) is tasked with supporting the execution and integration of risk data analytics within Global Retail under the guidance of the Director Profit Protection (Retail Operations).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• In support of Director Profit Protection, implements the risk data analytics roadmap, ensuring compliance with industry best practices:

• • Manage the day-to-day operations within Exception Based Reporting for Global Retail POS Transactional Data.
  • Manage 3rd party analysis operations through the nominated adidas provider (Infosys), ensuring adherence to operational SLA’s.
  • Monitor EBR (Exception Based Reporting) functionality ensuring SLAs are met in full and systems are always fully operational.
  • Support DTC led analysis including the integration of OMNI data sources, including eCOM.
  • Build and develop extensive analytics reporting that includes automated reports that can be utilized by Market Retail/Profit Protection.
  • Proactively escalate and improve risk programs by identifying where data analytics can automate manually intensive tasks or where analysis of full population of data provides greater assurance and efficiencies

• Complete quarterly quality assessments and fact-based documentation for Data Privacy purposes, including System User Access reviews and other elements defined within Profit Protection SLA’s / Standard Operating Accountabilities.
• Obtain breadth of understanding of key processes and in-depth knowledge of key adidas applications (e.g., SAP, RFID, , Power BI).
• Drive the integration of risk into Retail systems (RFID, mPOS, SCO) to leverage opportunities to mitigate risk and drive operational efficiencies.
• Support education and upskilling of Retail members to improve interpretation of data via usage of Profit Protection tools (e.g., EBR, RFID, Resolver).
• Develop analytic visualizations to create more compelling visuals that highlight impactful insights which are easier to consume for key stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for Retail members and associated stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling/Mathematics background
• 5+ years’ work experience within data analytics field
• Experience working within Profit Protection / Internal Controls / Risk Management / Retail functions
• Experience working with Exception Based Reporting / RFID systems
• Practical experience with data extraction and analytics tools.
