Position Overview:

Citi’s Global Broker-Dealer Legal Entity Treasury team is seeking a highly qualified AVP candidate to support Broker-Dealer funding, capital and liquidity management and oversight requirements within the Treasury organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to analytics and reporting of Broker-Dealer funding, liquidity, and capital. Including for intraday liquidity, forecasting and explanation of business activity within our Global Broker-Dealer entities.
  • Determines impacts to key liquidity and capital stress metrics, balance sheet usage, intraday liquidity usage and daily funding requirements
  • Conducts ad hoc, daily, weekly, monthly and annual analyses and supports reporting requirements to senior management
  • Maintains multi-level forecasts across varied time horizons, from same-day liquidity and funding requirements to long-term balance sheet forecasting across the Markets business, in coordination with Global Legal Entity Treasury teams
  • Assists with ongoing development and implementation of process improvements and strategic technology initiatives working with partners in Operations, Finance, Treasury and other areas throughout the organization
  • Produces presentation materials for senior management for ad-hoc, regulatory and committee meeting discussions, including for the monthly Broker-Dealer ALCO meeting
  • Contribute and support other cross-group initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, or other related experience, with strong understanding of Broker-Dealer business activity and product areas and how they translate into funding, liquidity and capital impacts.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented with advanced critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Willingness and ability to work across all levels of key deliverables under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • High energy style with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast pace environment.
  • Well-developed aptitude with databases, spreadsheets, and other desktop applications, including Microsoft Excel, Tableau. Python is a plus.
  • Must possess a proactive work ethic and be a team player
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
