What you’ll do

• Establish and oversee the application and implementation of ORM Independent Assurance Methodology, and maintain, evolve it.
• Contribute and undertake certain governance processes such as annual planning, change management of annual plans.
• Provide challenge to the ORM coverage and Risk SME teams for Independent Challenge activities including and undertaking quality assurance activities for areas as advised by the Head Operational Risk Assurance from time to time.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Independent Assurance and provide management information.
• Co-ordinate and manage stakeholder engagements within wider Risk organization.
• Collaborate with the Coverage Team and provide guidance and resolve issues in delivery of Independent Assurance Plan
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets,.

What we’ll need from you

• Substantial years of experience in Internal Audit, Operational Risk Assurance of Compliance Assurance.
• In depth knowledge of Assurance Methodologies, technology platforms supporting Operational Risk Management.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors.
• Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
• Detail oriented mindset with analytical skills, as the role requires a large amount of data manipulation and presentation. Expert in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
