The Regulatory Operations group is a centralized unit within Operations that is responsible for the implementation and oversight of regulatory reporting, including exception management and risk mitigation across various regulatory reporting obligations. The group is responsible for:
- Implementation of new regulatory reporting initiatives and enhancements
- Control and exception management for regulatory reporting obligations
- Industry level advocacy across multiple trade associations
- Partnering across Markets to remediate regulatory issues
What you’ll do
- Manage and oversee BAU function for Real-Time Reporting obligations; ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
- Participation in assessments of reporting issues established from a cross-jurisdictional perspective, ensuring the success of solutions delivered
- Provide training and support to team-members within immediate team, alongside cross-training within wider Regulatory Operations BAU functions to assist with improved knowledge build out
- Facilitate increased use of Data Concern Remediation Management (DCRM) Tool for the identification and subsequent transparency of potential data quality issues for Regulatory Operations
- Act as Tableau Champion for the Real-Time Reporting BAU Team ensuring delivery of automated, dynamic MIS is facilitated for use in presentations to senior management
- Identify additional functions including Power BI that can be used for improved efficiencies for use with both data analytics and overall break management
- Support integration of third-party trade validation solutions & the creation of the operational process to triage observations
- Measures performance through the lens of our stakeholders via co-ordination of deliverables for 1st line of defence including Compliance Assurance & Internal Audit
- Assist with delivery of future strategic centralization efforts including CGW reporting into Regulatory Operations
What we’ll need from you
- Ability to consult with a broad range of stakeholders demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in working across technology and business projects and managing inter-dependencies between the two
- Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of projects, operational process changes and improvement, preferably within capital markets operations
- Experience in collecting, defining, and documenting business and technology requirements, test plans and other project management artefacts
- Experience of participating in/running large scale implementations with the ability to work in a pressurised environment demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior levels of management
- Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of both MiFID Post-Trade Transparency & Swiss Real-Time Reporting obligations (desirable)
