Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the project portfolio management system for NPI projects across five business units of Honeywell.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the system meets business needs.
• Convert business requirements into technical requirements and designs.
• Develop and implement new features and enhancements to improve system functionality.
• Create and maintain Integration interfaces and APIs with ERPs, PLM, SFDC, MDM
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure system security and data integrity.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to drive rapid issue resolution.
• Identity, Design and Develop utilities to automate recurring processes.
• Contribute towards application modernization through adopting latest technologies and improving user experience.
• Peer review and provide sign off for technical designs and conduct code review within team and with external delivery partners.
• Define and drive design and coding best practices within development teams.
• Participates in technical fit/gap analysis for various PPM tools.
• Drive configuration discussions against customization, ensure off the shelf features are used to the full extent.
• Contribute to development of user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4-9 years of experience in developing project portfolio management systems
• Prior experience with one or more of COTS platforms like Accolade, Cora, Planview, Microfocus, Planisware, CA clarity or custom-built PPM solutions
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Python, SQL, databases, and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of APIs and their applications
• Experience designing and developing system integration solutions.
• Exposure to server performance monitoring tools (AppDynamics) preferred.
• Advanced Excel and VB knowledge preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience working with a technical team ensuring requirements are implemented correctly.
