SAP Product Management Specialist - GPX Localization

In this role you will:

  • Support localization projects across all phases of product translation cycle
  • Develop and communicate project plans, manage time and localization quality control
  • Manage risk to the projects you own
  • Work closely with stakeholders including product management, development, UX, translation and support
  • Conduct translatability reviews of UI designs and development code
  • Follow localization issues and drive fixes of localization bugs
  • Commence acceptance checks and post-delivery processes (linguistic quality assurance reviews)
  • Incorporate feedback and changes effectively while establishing mitigations for your projects
  • Build meaningful and productive relationships with your team members and project stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Candidate with bachelor’s level degree in an applicable discipline
  • Desire to work as a Product Manager at platform scale SaaS company
    • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, varying stakeholder networks and across locales with differing timezones
    • Self-starter and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
  • First-language proficiency, or excellent written and spoken skills in English
  • Fluency in one or more languages other than English
  • Specific Domain knowledge and interests
  • Understanding of software localization lifecycle, i18n best practice, front-end coding and tools
  • Project management skills and methodologies, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in conveying language nuances and grammar rules affecting translatability of English source
  • Familiarity with common product translatability challenges and how to resolve them
  • Openess to work occasionaly on US time zone
