About this role:
This position is responsible for providing first level analytical support for reviewing actions, transactions, documentation, processes and programs to ensure quality standards are met, relevant controls are followed and executed, and deficiencies are identified and addressed.
In this role, you will:
- Examine and research complex programs, processes, claims, documentation, or files to ensure compliance with internal company requirements or agency or government regulations
- Perform advanced, comprehensive reviews of multiple types of executive resolution transactions and case reviews within a business line
- Identify risks and problem areas and recommend improvements
- Research risks and develop solutions for problems identified
- Perform branch or office inspections on key controls, procedural, or policy inspection points to ensure compliance with company requirements, agency or government regulations
- Evaluate staff knowledge and compliance with governing policies, procedures and regulations
- Provide support for exam management activities and any other initiatives as needed
- Mentor less experienced staff and assist with their development
- Consult with leadership related to results of assessment
- Communicate overall process or transaction quality
- Provide feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Finance and Accounting concepts, methodologies and systems such as Cost Basis Accounting, GAAP, Balance Sheet or Income Statement
- Must be familiar with GAAP and IFRS accounting principles, loan documentation, components of financial ratios, spreading and covenants.
- Commercial banking experience
- Experience analyzing accounting principles, tax returns, and business and personal financial statements
- Experience with one or a combination of the following systems: Automated Financial Systems (AFS) commercial loan system, FIS Optimist or ICMP
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and management
- Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
- Knowledge and understanding of loan documentation
- Ability to recognize service possibilities that will increase customer satisfaction.
- Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to apply knowledge of processes and systems to accomplish tasks.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Listen, understand, respond, and build relationships across the organization.
- A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Work in one of the posted locations below on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office / 2 days from home.
