Your key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for users
- Escalate complex issues to IT management and technicians for timely resolution
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer hardware, software and peripherals
- Collaborate with IT staff for the development, deployment and maintenance of IT projects
- Provide technical support for video conferencing, telecommunication and audiovisual systems
- Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets
- Provide technical support and guidance to users on all company-supported software and hardware applications
- Respond and manage service requests via a ticket system, email, or phone
- Provide training to end-users on the use of company supported software and hardware applications
Skills and attributes for success
- Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above
- Strong technical skills, be customer-oriented, and be able to adapt to changes quickly
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IT Support or similar roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating system software, Active Directory, SCCM etc.
- Basic Networking understanding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
