In this role, you will lead the GIS team, driving collaboration and innovation across projects to achieve our clients' goals. You'll leverage your extensive geospatial skills in data creation, collection, processing, and analysis across multiple disciplines, applying GIS technology to solve various challenges in the water sector.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale GIS project delivery, particularly in the water sector
- Strong management skills in resourcing, technical and people leadership
- Ability to bring new Geospatial ideas and challenge accepted norms
- Experience in developing and implementing project plans, workflows, and innovative solutions
- Expertise in GIS for engineering, environmental, utilities, or other Infrastructure sectors
- High level of technical knowledge covering ESRI products (or other GIS software)
- Strong understanding of spatial data management practices, 3D GIS, data conversion, spatial analysis, and quality control processes
- Experience with web-based GIS and/or enterprise GIS technologies
- Knowledge of Python, FME, SQL, or other tools for automation and efficiency
- Understanding of complementary solutions such as BIM, Civil3D, Revizto, ACC, and other software
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of Middle East region specifications and guidelines
As a successful candidate, you will have a degree from a recognized university in Geography or Computer Science, coupled with 15 to 20 years of successful professional experience. Your passion for applying GIS technology to solve complex problems and your proven ability to drive collaboration and innovation across GIS projects will be essential in this role.
