Role Overview:

Ensuring the UK, Europe and MEA In-Country Payroll Teams meet governance and regulatory obligations, understanding the delivery timelines of payroll associated tasks and supporting through to completion. This role will manage payroll issues through to conclusion.

What you’ll do:

  • The Senior Payroll Analyst performs business analysis support for an HR and Payroll operations organization; Creates and manages the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for payroll processes and procedures.
  • Creates and manages the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements; manages the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications; and implementation of user application test plans.
  • Executes test plans and identifies and documents discrepancies found through the ability to accurately assess output against expected results; Resolves discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, communicates issues and results clearly, and retests as required.
  • Creates and run data verification reports utilizing queries.
  • Interacts with customers on production and project support.
  • Plans and execute complex projects and coordinate over a broader departmental spectrum. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams and is involved in coaching and training of new recruits.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Relevant experience in a related role.
  • Demonstrated execution capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge while contributing to the development of new techniques and processes and for the area or function.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
