Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implementation of OS features and infrastructure throughout the development lifecycle
- Develop networking management and monitoring capabilities from the UI level
- Remote API framework development and new functionality
- Enhance the OS backend capabilities
- Work closely with other groups and stakeholders in Check Point
- Measure, analyze, and improve existing code to enhance performance and functionality
Qualifications
- BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field and a proven work experience as a Software Developer
- Deep understanding of Linux anatomy, user-space processes, daemons, boot process, etc.
- Familiar with Web Servers and monitoring systems
- Experience with Network drivers and Linux processes.
- 8+ years of experience in the development of large systems
- Experience with JavaScript and Python – Advantage
- Linux kernel development - an advantage
