Job Description

Overall objectives :

  • Primary relationship with CLT (HH, FIN, RA, EA, MED), support functions (IMQ, GP, HR, IT, L&C).

  • Drive Demand and Supply efficiencies through Local pre S&OP / S&OP / New Product planning / regulatory change processes.

  • Ensure compliance in GDP, GMP, GDL, Customs, Internal Processes.

  • Optimize the SCM Operations costs and estimates.

S&OP and HH Relationship Management :

  • Support DFP to drive preS&OPs, Demand accuracy, securing supplies and avoidance of discards.

  • Drive consensus demand discussions for sign-off from Finance and MD.

  • Develop and Drive an efficient and effective Exec. Market S&OP process.

  • Accountable for continuous product availability and timebound supplies to support market growth opportunities / aspirations.

  • Establish strong review mechanism with regulatory teams to capture regulatory changes including applications, approvals, securing efficient forward inventory covers.

  • Work closely with Business Units to get early & regular strategic insights in to business plans and ensure good alignment on the strategic vision.

  • Collaborate with Business Unit, RA, DFP and Regional SCM to ensure New Products Launch avalability.

  • Develop strong relationship with respective Business Units and Commercial teams to capture early signals of change, risk, opportunities to organise support.

  • Be the key escalation contact from market to APCJ Regional SCM and drive solutions.

Supply Chain Operations Excellence :

  • Accountable for driving the Importation & Customs clearance process efficiency.

  • Ensure efficient and timebound delivery in 3PL warehouse.

  • Support RA for new product registration relevant requirements

  • Ensure return of product complaint samples to respective sites in collaboration with DPOC.

  • Define, share, drive Market Supply Chain strategy

  • Build relationships with external partners, suppliers, distributors, service providers, industry experts .

  • Drive ‘Continuous Improvement’ and ‘Problem solving’ approach for operational efficiencies

  • Responsible for Customs Broker management and ensure KPIs performance.

  • Periodic review of operational efficiency, supplier performance and review KPIs.

  • Monitor Customs broker performance to ensure compliance across all import, export shipments.

  • Ensure all license and POA assigned to brokers are valid at all time.

  • Accountable for accuracy in Inventory count, reconciliation, discard and disposal of unsaleables.

  • Develop, drive and deliver efficiency in SCM budget, forecasts, costs, accruals and per pack costs.

  • Lead & Support various Projects that need SCM functional expertise

Compliance :

  • Drive compliance to :

    Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Internal Revenue regulations and requirement/s

    Higher of FDA , GDP requirement/s.

    GDL standards, product handling, processes and SOPs

  • Actively support on Global/Regional/Local product batch Recalls

  • Active support on Safety & Security compliance

  • Face and address multiple audits from internal/external compliance groups

  • Accountable for accuracy in customs clearance documentation for both imports and exports.

People Management:

  • Recruit staff/s and assign the jobs to ensure segregation of duty aligned with local HR guidelines.

  • Review and manage staff workload, to avoid burnout due to overload.

  • Engage appropriate training, coaching and developments to colleagues, to help career development.

  • Implement mid-year/year-end performance review.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Degree in engineering, pharmacy would be advantage

  • MBA, APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (preferred)

Experience:

  • Related experience of 8-10 years in Supply Chain operations

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience would be an advantage.

  • People management and networking experience

  • Good command of English, both writing and speaking

  • Effective communication and influencing skills
