The Operations Analyst works directly with sales and other cross-functional stakeholders to provideoperations management and advisory services.
Commit management:
- Attend forecast calls and understand key priorities for the week, month, quarter
- Accountable for commit operationalization on a weekly basis, with cross-functional team engagements (sales, channel, engineering, finance, IT, customer service) and update stakeholders on the progress/actions required
- Prepare sneak peek for respective Theatre | Domain in critical period-ends
Business Partnership:
- Field/customer operations advisory, enablement and change management, on tools, policies and processes
- Supply chain consultation and constraint management
- Consultation and operational design for complex hardware deals and deal assurance
- Quality of bookings and backlog management analysis and resolution
- Stakeholder operational business reviews
- Advisor to sales teams on Cisco’s crediting and compensation policies and processes, including system-driven crediting rules, bookings policies and recognition of different offer types, and periodic compensation and incentive program changes
- Escalation management accountability & ownership including at the executive level
- Field problem identification
- Proactively solve seller problems, listen to their feedback and close the loop
- Drive process and system automation and simplification by raising the change request, work with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, process manager) until change is implemented
- Drive awareness and adoption of solutions and enhancements
- Ensure continued self-learning, especially on new business consumption models, software, and acquisitions
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree + 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of sales and operational processes
- Experience working across multiple teams, ideally in global or transformation projects
- Good at identifying problems and following through until they’re fixed
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English and Thai (nice-to-have)
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Cisco system or product experience
- Project management or Six Sigma certification
- Experience in software sales or enterprise deals
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
