Required/Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ year(s) industry experience
- OR 2+ years industry experience and college course work.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable certifications: CompTIA, Microsoft, or Network Certifications
- 2+ experience working across teams of multiple disciplines and collaborating with diverse, technical workforces
- Knowledge of Internet WAN topologies, with the ability to interpret infrastructure cabling floor plans and rack face diagrams (RFD)
- Familiarity with various infrastructure cabling used in production datacenter environments
- Familiarity with Optical Distribution Frame (ODF), Meet Me Rooms (MMR) and acquainted with Optical/DWDM systems
- Experience managing non-IT-centric projects and/or programs
- Working knowledge of audit and compliance requirements
- Experience in financial management and good business acumen
- Knowledge of physical Enterprise-class IT infrastructures
- Basic knowledge of CE infrastructures (e.g. UPS, Generator, AHU, etc.)
- Problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis and attention to detail
- Verbal + written communication and organization skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks and projects
- Experience working with operational ticketing systems
- Great customer service, interpersonal awareness, and communication skills
