As a key member of our team, you will support our transition to a solutions provider, transforming how we deliver through the implementation of new technologies and lean, digital processes, to increase efficiency and add value for our clients. With a focus on sustainability and decarbonisation, you will utilise your highly developed technical engineering, interpersonal and organisational skills in supporting the delivery of structural solutions on highways, rail, aviation, energy and power projects.
You will support the growth of our business in Ireland, both in terms of increasing the size of our Bridges and Structures team and contributing to the growth of our workload pipeline. Often in a client facing role, you will be responsible for project delivery on a range of bridge and structural related projects:
- Lead and mentor teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
- Use your knowledge and skills in to lead a team and other disciplines in providing an integrated service to clients
- Proactively identifying and implementing innovative solutions through leveraging data, automation, lean and standardisationstandardization to improve efficiency/productivity and project outcomes.
- Project delivery excellence, commercial or technical, or both depending on role (i.e. delivery to time, budget and quality)
- Work with our UK, Ireland and Global Integrated Delivery teams to best use our resources and ensure efficient and successful delivery.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline)
- A professional qualification
- Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skill
- Project management and leadership skills related to bridge design (or other disciplines)
- Strong technical design and practical problem-solving skills
