Governmental organizations are also looking to and depending on AWS for cloud solutions and services.This position is based in the Washington Metro Area (WMA). You will join a cadre of program management and technical business development professionals in pursuing new and overseeing existing US Government contract requirements, milestones, and deliverables. As a Program Manager, you will spend time facilitating AWS in shaping, responding to, and executing Task Orders. You will manage a portfolio of Task Orders for a targeted set of customer programs and act as the AWS program manager for those customers.
The role requires subject matter expertise in the areas of project and program management and technical business development experience to incorporate technical requirements into commercial transactions and effectively structure, facilitate, and close deals, and manage tactical program activities in accordance with existing contract performance criteria. You will draw upon extensive information technology project management, critical thinking, and analytic problem-solving skills coupled with business development and executive communication skills with government customers.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.Arlington, VA, USA

Basic qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Tableau to produce project documentation, schedules, reports, dashboards, briefings and deliverables.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years’ experience managing programs across cross functional teams and building repeatable processes.
• 3+ years’ experience providing support to senior executives.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance at the TS level.
