As a Vice President, Product Manager Investments & Advice within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will be instrumental in aiding advisors to position solutions through a goals-based perspective. You will possess a deep understanding of the advisors' business strategy, enabling you to provide tailored intellect across firm research, investment ideas, and vehicles. Your collaboration with other field support members and field leadership will be a critical factor in our success. We seek an team member with a passion for capital markets and the wealth management industry, who can exhibit independent initiative and respond effectively to the needs of the field.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource to advisors, as it relates to Investments & Advice. Candidate will be able to articulate the firm's investment views and themes and our strategic and tactical best thinking, J.P. Morgan’s approach to managing wealth along with how to present timely appropriate solutions.
- Advise, identify and select appropriate managers, vehicles for client portfolios keeping in mind regulatory framework, client goals and risks, diversification attributes and return expectations holistically.
- Present on national and regional advisor calls to message advice, and craft written communications sent to all advisors
- Partner with centralized Wealth Management Solutions teams on Product Content, business requirements, field feedback and with third party partners/managers to facilitate value added learning or insight for your region when appropriate
- Work directly with national sales leadership to drive new investment flows across all investment products and retain existing business, evaluating flows trends and pivoting focus accordingly.
- Help drive our strategic long term North Star agenda aligned with growth of the enterprise.
- Traveling to specific offices on an as needed basis
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant investment experience with Series 7
- Self-starter with natural curiosity for the markets and investing and willingness to engage in significant discussions with different views
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong technological skills across various investment tools and Microsoft Office
- Strong team player with a predisposition to sales/service function with advisors and U/HNW clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills to clearly and passionately articulate investment views and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences, especially in larger group settings
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Series 66 (may be fulfilled within 6 months of assuming role)
- Advanced credentials: CFA, CIMA, CFP (not required)
