Your Role and ResponsibilitiesJob Description
- Generate new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound approaches to the account base in assigned territory
- Identify needs of prospective clients and propose appropriate solutions to select interested leads for sales appointments
- Conduct sales presentations as needed.
- Use SFDC to follow up on new sales opportunity generation and management activities (call details, prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
- Quickly learn the technical aspects of the product, effectively communicate the value proposition, and answer questions from prospects about object handling, competitors, and other frequently asked questions
- Understand the business problems that Apptio’s solutions can solve and optimize solutions to provide insight around solving customer business issues.
- Collaborate with Field Marketing and Field Sales to optimize team sales productivity.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Japanese (Fluent/N1 Level)
- Must have a proven track record of driving pipeline generation and achieving sales goals for enterprise software level deals.
- Must have the ability to conduct extensive cold calling and email campaigns and understand customer organizations.
- Must have creative tactics for approaching corporate IT executives.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must have excellent ability to analyze data and use sales tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and aggressive start-up environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- A minimum of 2-5 years of SaaS sales or telephone prospecting experience is preferred.
- Recent IT industry and/or enterprise sales experience is preferred.
