What You’ll Do
- Lead high-impact, end-to-end process improvement and automation initiatives within Uber’s global credit risk and collections operations.
- Drive enhancements to Credit Risk Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and end-to-end Credit Management processes to protect the business while supporting profitable growth.
- Build and execute process, control, and enhancement roadmaps in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Manage complex projects from concept to implementation, applying strong analytical and project management skills to deliver scalable, automated solutions.
- Standardize and optimize global business processes across all B2B products and lines of business, enabling increased operational efficiency.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, leveraging exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence priorities and drive alignment.
- Independently prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of Credit & Collections Operational and/or Process experience, in multifaceted, complex, matrixed environments
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Credit Risk Certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to drive and improve end-to-end processes with a track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis
- Functional knowledge of credit management, bad debt, customer invoicing, receivable aging, and collections
- Strong understanding of internal controls, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Robust experience working with cross-functional partners across teams and geographies
- Proven experience collaborating with IT and engineering teams
- Ability to influence and collaborate with different teams in a fast-paced changing environment
- Formal Agile and/or Six Sigma certifications are an advantage
- Experience or active exposure to advanced technologies e.g., Machine Learning, AI, etc. is an advantage
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year - USD$110,000 per year.
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year - USD$110,000 per year.
