In joining Jacobs you will:

• Build effective relationships both internally and externally to balance the requirements of the Client, Government Authorities and Company as a whole. Champion the interests of Clients, Customers and Stakeholders by acting as the focal point for escalation within the program.

• Ensuring stakeholders are identified and recognized as partners in the development and delivery of the Programs strategic goals.

• Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies including informing, consulting and involving stakeholders where relevant and evaluating the effectiveness of these strategies.

• Advising senior leadership of issues and/or risks to stakeholder relationships as soon as they arise so risks can be managed effectively.

• Responsible for the conversion of the Client remit into an agreed program requirement specification. Be accountable for development of the initial program plan and budget; working with the Construction Directors and Functional Managers to specify how the program portfolio is going to be delivered, expected milestones, and associated timescales, resource requirements, risks & issues and funding needs/sources.

• Assist Programs delivery directors to effectively consult and engage stakeholders on relevant Programs.

• Managing the effective delivery and ongoing implementation of a stakeholder contact management system.

Here's what you'll need

• BS degree in a Management or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

• 10 years professional experience with 5 years in stakeholder management preferred.

• Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS).

• Experience working on large-scale programs.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Aconex, and other relevant software.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of authorities and government entities.

• Engaging personality, confident in dealing with people at all levels and ability to influence.

• Ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies with strong understanding of the construction sector, project management, policies.

• Flexible and willing to support others at times, especially when organizational priorities take precedence.
