What you’ll do

  • Manage complex and highly varying issues with significant potential impact on multiple operations' areas. Individuals at this level may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.
  • Lead projects, resolves escalated operations' issues and/ or offer solutions at an advanced level.
  • Liaise with multiple Operations teams/departments.
  • Serve as analytical and/or procedural expert, represent a unit or team on cross functional processes or project deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of the organization's operational procedures and best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements; use such knowledge to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in business, planning and analysis for operations area supported.
  • Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level personnel on operational processes/procedures across multiple functions and/or departments.
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and streamline operational processes.
  • Be responsible for managing overall resource management and allocation of work for assigned operations area for multiple teams/projects.
  • Analyse and check disclosure of interest data and if necessary, prepare DOI filings for review and submit filings to the appropriate regulatory body and/or other interested parties as required under relevant regulation.
  • Escalate any issues or concerns identified and provide input on potential corrective action plans designed to address issues that are identified.
  • Participate in ad-hoc requests, special projects and regulatory exams directed by other organizations within the compliance or legal departments.
  • Oversee the monitoring to adherence to Citi’s Risk Policies and relevant procedures
  • Prepare, edit and maintain DOI program related materials
  • Interact and work with other areas within Citi, as necessary
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What we’ll need from you

  • Extensive experience is a similar role in a fast paced environment
  • Well-developed management skills
  • Relevant experience managing operational functions
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and to communicate with external parties
  • Risk mindset
  • Analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
