About you and your responsibilities

• Expert in Connectivity area, BT, Wi-Fi, Cellular 4G/5G, 450Mhz.

• Advise/Debug/Trouble shoot connectivity related items. Both in terms of coming up with an architecture that can scaled and deployed

• Provide expertise to local Aramco engineers in these areas

• Leverages advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate critical embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

• Analyses user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize sophisticated software for optimal operational efficiency.

• Designs and implements software sub-systems for complex, large-scale products and systems.

• Leads design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and schedules.

• Performs highly complex code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.

• Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to increase leverage and design solutions that work with other components of a specific project.

• Writes detailed technical documentation for highly complex Software projects; reviews technical documentation for junior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.

• Proven track record in wireless communication systems, including 5G/4G, Wi-Fi, and spectrum across bands including 450 MHz.

• Deep understanding of Qualcomm products and technologies roadmap.

• Ability to partners with Qualcomm engineers to address complex wireless problems.

• Strong understanding of RF systems, protocols, and standards.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in the connectivity domain in the areas of 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, BT, Satellite, and other wireless technologies58.

• Experience with cutting-edge technologies and innovations in 5G and beyond.

• Deep expertise in RF design and analysis.

• Experience with machine learning applications in wireless communications.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
