What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- This is not a desk job, you will get dirty. Candidates must be willing to design, estimate, purchase, construct, commission and maintain their work
- Candidate will manage of team of 6-8 junior through senior level engineers
- Provide cost estimates, timelines, and capacity insights for analysis of new program feasibility
- Provide technical guidance in design and construction phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents and close-out
- Develop and improve project workflows and standards to ensure each design is consistently excellent
- Perform regular field visits and collaborate with construction team to reflect construction feasibility and value engineering in design and models
- Create and present electrical safety or technical trainings for all engineering and maintenance teams, as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent expereince
- 15+ years work experience in heavy commercial and industrial sector (manufacturing, datacenter, hospital, campus, etc.)
- Registered as a CA Professional Engineer (PE)
- Desire to do the impossible with a positive and professional “never say die” attitude
- Expert knowledge of NEC & CBC codes
- Ability to communicate clearly and interface at an executive level
- Familiarity with REVIT MEP, Navisworks and general awareness of other BIM software applications
