What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- This is not a desk job, you will get dirty. Team members must be willing to design, estimate, purchase, construct, commission and maintain their work. You don't need to have all these skills to start, but you must be willing to learn them
- Lead electrical design for the following electrical deliverables: Single line diagram, panel schedule, grounding drawing, underground conduit drawing, power plan, lighting layout, and area classification drawing
- Responsible to prepare electrical deliverables with respect to code compliance and ensure every design maintains the highest level of quality
- Simulate and analyze electrical engineering studies (short circuit study, load flow analysis, arc flash study)
- Participate in field construction and commissioning activities by serving as the point of contact for technical questions and real-time issue resolution
- Interface with external EPC firms during bid and project execution phases as needed to ensure that design and specifications meet our Engineering Standards
- Support site operations as an electrical system owner - ensure infrastructure reliability and design/coordinate changes as needed
- 2+ years working experience in the electrical infrastructure design. Electrical construction experience is plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 7+ years work experience in heavy commercial and industrial sector (manufacturing, datacenter, hospital, campus, etc)
- Experience with Revit
- Strong desire to be a part of a world class team focused on achieving amazing results
- Proficient to NEC/CEC requirement/exceptions
- Registered as a CA Professional Engineer (PE) or willing to work to attain your PE
