Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional knowledge of industry best practices in IT infrastructure operations and support as well as cybersecurity tools and methodologies.

• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

• Experience designing, installing, configuring, and supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.

• Solid understanding of common TCP/IP Service Protocols, such as ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, SSH. Also in the following technologies and protocols: PPTP, L2TP, 802.1q, 802.1x, SSL, IKE, IPSec, 3DES, AES, SHA-1, MD5

• Experience with design, installation and/or operation of network security solutions, including at least three of the following: Firewalls, VPNs, IDP/IPS, Antivirus Gateways, Web Content Filtering, Antispam, Vulnerability Managers, Database Security, and VoIP Security.

• Experience with authentication systems such as LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, Active Directory, Digital Certificates / PKI.

• Experience designing and/or operating/maintaining Wireless networking in a secure way.

• Solid understanding of VoIP solutions and VoIP security systems is a plus.

• Holder of network and/or security related certifications/qualifications is a plus.

• Experience racking network equipment and structured cabling

• Experience with VMware (ESXi, VCenter) is a plus.

• Bilingual (English & Portuguese) is required, Spanish a plus.

• Basic knowledge of low voltage electricity.

• Adaptable and flexible, operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Bachelor / Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Telecommunications or equivalent education and experience

• Valid visa to travel to the United States.

Job Duties and responsibilities

• Help build and organize allocating equipment for hires throughout LATAM.

• Day-to-day focus is on the IT Support operations function, providing excellent customer service to our employees in the LATAM region.

• Support IT onboarding sessions for new LATAM employees.

• Develop and document IT procedures and pragmatic problem-solving.

• Account management for password resets and lockout.

• Diagnose computer problems and provide technical support.

• Troubleshoot software and hardware.

• Provide technical support to any client or peer using the conference or training rooms.

• Maintain and troubleshoot the VoIP system present in the office, as well as any peripheral projects related to it.

• Maintain and Improve network availability and security controls.

• Take internal and external training as needed (including self-training modules) to keep product knowledge at the best possible and be an expert resource for your peers.

• Participate in team projects and meetings and collaborate effectively.

• Build and maintain relationships across multiple internal teams.

• Be able to process and respond to requests from your peers promptly.

• Be able to respond to emergencies at the office after-hours quickly.

• Work with third-party vendors to resolve reported incidents.

• Lift heavy equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs).
