Job Description:

PayPal Mobile Platform team is looking for an iOS mobile DevOps engineer. Who will be responsible for supporting iOS build tools, CI pipelines and developer productivity tooling. And will work closely with the leads from mobile domains to gather requirements and design & develop tools and automation to improve the productivity of mobile engineers. This will be accomplished through technical leadership and collaboration. The candidate needs strong communication skills as well as a strong background in iOS developer tools & infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of coding using industry best practices in eitherJava/Python/Swift/Rubyprogramming languages.
• Knowledge of continuous integration servers(Jenkins/Harness/CircleCI).
• Experience with developing & automating continuous integration pipelines for iOS App development.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure for setting up CI/CD in cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, building and managing docker images.
• Knowledge of test automation tools & frameworks such as XCUI Test, Appium, etc.
• Knowledge of Mobile application development tools & processes.
• Ability to diagnose and fix build & test infrastructure issues quickly and effectively.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for Google Cloud Infrastructure, Android build tools & test automation tools.
• Provideguidance to other team members, design and develop tooling & automation for Mobile App Development Lifecycle.
• DevelopCI pipelines to realize true continuous integration and shift-left quality checks.
• Enhance and support existing CI pipelines.
• Develop tools & dashboard to capture quality metrics for mobile application code bases.
• Develop tools and build automation to increase the productivity of mobile developers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Leverage Gen AI to build tooling to improve the mobile SDLC processes.
