To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to use their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and optimally demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and demonstrate business value.In your role, you will be the most important advisor and partner to the Account Executive and the Customer in a fast paced environment, and therefore you will collaborate effectively with a talented team and recommend and carry out practical actions to deal with issues.
Responsibilities:
- To understand and proudly articulate the values and benefits of Salesforce - as a company and as a solution - to customers at all levels, examples include; business managers, Administration/IT Staff and "C" level executives
- Business requirements assessment and delivery of findings including key difficulties, proposed solutions to meet business needs, and return on investment where applicable
- Coordinate and own the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other high performing teams
- Development of a technical sales strategy
- Convey confidence in using AI within cloud based applications
- Configuring and optimally demonstrating our solutions in a way that closely reflects each customer’s business (tailored demonstrations)
- Work well in a matrix organisation, including account executives, csg consultants and implementation partners
- Implement enablement activities (Webinars, Best Practices, Knowledge Share, etc.)
- Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutions while supporting relationships with customers and partners
- Have a keen interest in growing your career, participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives
Attributes/Experience:
- Business smart and curious through strong listening skills
- Previous presales experience as a Sales Engineer/Architect for a CRM/AI company or similar technology
- Proven oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills
- Confirmed time management skills in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in multifaceted, energizing environments
- Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge
- Strong communication skills to fuel customers with new ideas and maintain their attention
- Versatile to understand the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries andtranslating/presentingthose needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers
- Interest or Experience in AI, automation, Generative AI Strategy and LLM-based (Autonomous) Agents
- Independently own your career, flexible startup-mindset
- Fluency in English and Dutch; French is a plus
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
