Key responsibilities include:
- Familiar with Utility concept design and relocation.
- Understand and knowledge of utility work and design requirements.
- Use of Bentley families of Product Microstation, Open Roads/Rails and related vertical products.
- Use of project Engineering Design Tools from one or more vendors.
- Working with Engineering team promoting Jacobs Standard tools and work process.
- Understanding of project configuration tools for project execution.
- Providing support and troubleshooting of project software.
- Supporting project teams on the design with Bentley tools.
Here's what you'll need
- 5 Years project and industry experience, preferably in California.
- Engineering Design for utility and construction industry experience coupled with relevant qualifications.
- Microstation, Bentley Inroads/Rail, Open Roads, Bentley Concept Station (including Modeling, Plan & Profile).
- Experience in the use and configuration Microstation Workspaces for a large enterprise, (maintaining DGN Lib, templates, Cell Libraries etc.)
- Understanding of Microstation vertical product and its configurations.
- Knowledge of ProjectWise, PSET, MicroStation programming and scripting languages are highly regarded.
- Proficient use of BIM technology including file interoperability and information exchange process.
- Previous CAD Manager/Technician, experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate and effect changes and improvements.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Have an ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and apply new skills brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and technologies.
