What you will be doing:
Deploy and Support for NVIDIA products.
Guidance and supervision of 3rd party contractors - In the field or / and with remote support.
Cable installations including - ensuring requirements are accurate such as number and type of connections, port assignments, and timing of activity while following standard methodologies.
Printing labels for re-labeling of cables based on a Point to Point (P2P) scheme.
Quality testing of all cables being used.
Support resolving issues involving cabling components.
Validating and updating all related work instructions for cabling activities.
Responsible for providing input for Data Center Standards updates as required; balancing multiple activities and priorities; participate in projects calls.
Ensure that all relevant physical assets are recorded in Asset Manager and that all inventory-related fields are accurately recorded as well.
Shipping and receiving duties: Inspects all received hardware shipments.
Documenting processes and keeping event logs.
Installation of various network systems at customer sites.
What we need to see:
2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, field service engineer or similar.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.
Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
Proficiency in documenting network processes.
Willingness to travel (~25-35%).
Ways to stand out from crowd:
Network troubleshooting including looking at port counters, errors, etc.
Collaboration with R&D and network engineering teams.
Outstanding communication skills.
