We’re looking for multipleto help build the next-generation microservices using cloud-first concepts and technologies including containerization, serverless architecture, and increased use of NoSQL data stores.

Value You Deliver

• Design, development & delivery of new features as part of agile team
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from product management, interaction designers, and other engineering teams (platform, mobile, quality).
• Pro-actively identify ways to make TripIt more robust, scalable and user-friendly.
• Own cloud services end to end, delivering distributed systems using AWS native services
• Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Good professional software development and cloud infrastructure engineering experience (developing consumer web applications preferred).
• Expertise with server-side web frameworks (Python/Django or PHP/Symfony preferred)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and knowledge on AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo is highly desired)
• Knowledge of one or more relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle (familiarity with one or more NoSQL databases is a plus)
• DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex technical concepts with ease across an organization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions is preferred.
• Experience in Travel Technologies a plus
